I'd Rather Be Blogging!

Oh man! I'm so far behind on my blog-reading. I miss it.

I'm also not so good at posting daily, lately. ...have you missed me? {{wink}}

Things are just a little hectic these days. We closed on our 44th Street house on Dec 1 and had "a few sundry items" left in the garage that we had to clear out. We also had to clear out "a few of the left-overs" from the office, as the new tenant took over the lease ... also on Dec 1.

Fortunately, when he came to look at the suite, he liked it "as-is" and decided to buy all of the office and conference room furniture. What a relief to have it sold and not have to move it! (By the way, the new tenants' names are Joe and Pam!! Isn't that funny?)

Since we didn't have to worry about moving all that big stuff, we just rented a 10' truck to take care of both locations. "Surely," we thought, "it can all fit..." Well, not only did the trucking company not have a truck available on Sunday when they were supposed to... they only had a 26' truck available on Monday! We took one look at that monster and thougtht, "What a waste!"

Well, that turned out to be a huge blessing... we completely filled it with our "sundry left-overs!!" Geesh. You should see our garage. It's an over-sized two-car space, with barely a path to walk through... and that's just of the stuff we know we're putting in a garage sale. We still have our whole living room (and I mean the whole room) filled with boxes that I have to sort through and determine what we keep, what we put in the garage sale, and what we toss. {{SIGH}}

Since we're winding down and wrapping things up to head to the Carolinas, I don't have internet now... at the office or at home. If I get online, it has to be at mom's. Yikes. I'm gonna feel so out of touch. Needless-to-say, I won't be around for a while!

I'll try to post little snippets of progress every couple of days!!

Ugh... time to go sort boxes.
